2018-19 Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List

JUNIOR (2017-2018): Finished the season with a 7-8 record in singles play and a 7-10 record in doubles play... Played primarily from the No. 2 and No. 3 positions... Had multiple back to back match wins for the Eagles throughout the season... Played primarily from the No. 1 position in doubles play... Won three straghit matches during the month of March with partner Ella Monsey... Named to the 2017-2018 Academic Honor Roll by the Sun Belt Conference... 

SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Won five matches during the season for the Eagles primarily from the No. 2 position… Defeated her opponent Melissa Machado from Appalachian State to help send the Eagles to the Quarterfinals match in the Sun Belt Tournament… Played alongside of Mariana Ranzahuer during doubles play, winning seven matches during the season… Held a three match winning streak during the season as well as defeating their opponents against Appalachian State during the Sun Belt Tournament…Named to 2016-17 Sun Belt Commissioner’s List.

FRESHMAN (2016): Joined the team in the spring and held a 10-9 record at the No. 3 position throughout … Went 2-3 in conference play … Posted a 5-10 record at the No. 1 doubles spot … Competed in the Sun Belt Tournament (Apr. 22) but didn’t finish due to Troy clinching the win … Earned points against App State (Apr. 10) and Troy (Apr. 9) … Sported a three-match winning streak against UNCG (Mar. 13), Bethune-Cookman (Mar. 16) and Florida A&M (Mar.19) … Won in straight sets eight of the 10 times … Picked up a win in first collegiate match against South Carolina State (Jan. 26) 6-1, 6-2.

PREP: Played No. 1 on the First Team in high school (Cornwall Hill College) … Only lost one high school tennis match as a senior … Made the State Team every year from 2012-2015 … Competed on the U15 South African schools team in 2012 … Competed on the U17 South African Schools team in 2013 and 2014 … Earned a spot on the U19 South African Schools team in 2015  … Was named Tennis Player of the Year at Cornwall Hill College from 2012-2015 … Won the doubles title at the South Central Circiut ITF Grade 4 Nambia (ITF) in 2015 … Also won the doubles title at Widjojo ITF in Indonesia in 2014 … Went to State for Indoor Action Netball in 2012.

PERSONAL: Was born to Tommy and Renette Truscott on March 28, 1997 … Was born in Kimberley, South Africa and grew up in Centurion … Is the only child … Intends on majoring in accounting.
