SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 46 games during his final season with the Eagles, starting 37, primarily as a left fielder but saw some action at catcher ... Set career-highs in hits (33), runs (23), doubles (6), triples (1), and tied a career-high in home runs (3) ... Also had career-highs in walks (12) and HBP (15) for a .380 OB% ... Named the Inaugural Tony Robichaux Leadership Award Winner, an award made to honor the student-athlete who is the best teammate and influence on their team and their community.

JUNIOR (2022): Posted a .277 batting average with 18 hits, 12 runs, 12 RBI, four doubles and two home runs … Had a career-high in slugging percentage with ,431 … Returned from injury against South Alabama on 4/24 and crushed a home run in that game … Only had one error in 2022, holding a fielding percentage of .994, the second highest in his career.

JUNIOR (2021): Started 31 of the 44 games he appeared in during the 2021 season... Tallied 25 hits and drove in 11 RBIs... Crushed three home runs and walked seven times... Was hit by six pitches... Posted a .992 fielding percentage behind the plate for the Eagles... Scored 20 runs on the season... 

SOPHOMORE (2020): Appeared in 7 games with 3 starts… scored two runs for the eagles and walked five times… Posted an on base percentage of .455… 

FRESHMAN (2019): Played in 21 games with 18 starts....Batted .207 on 58 at bats and recorded six runs, two doubles and nine RBIs off 12 hits. 

PREP: Played for coach Rhett Parrot at Dalton High School… Named All-State, All-Region and North Georgia Player of the Year… Also played quarterback for Dalton High School… Also played for 643 Baseball Academy and was coached by Danny Pralgo.

PERSONAL: Born John Paul Tighe on June 20, 2000 in Albuquerque, N.M. … Son of John Tighe and Allyson Coker… Has three older siblings, Susannah, Morgan, and Reaves… His father played golf at Florida and Florida State.
