FIFTH YEAR (2024): Finished his collegiate career in 2024 with a 1-1 record, including one save … Made 17 appearances, starting six games … Compiled 10 strikeouts in 24.1 innings … Ended the season with back-to-back multi-strikeout performances against Louisiana and Appalachian State.

SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 19 contests for the Eagles this season, starting seven of those ... Finished the year with a 5.98 ERA and a 4-3 record, pitching fo 49.2 innings of work ... Sat down 47 opposing batters while only walking 22 ... Took part in two combined shutouts thrown by the Eagles this season, one against Mercer (2/28) and one against Old Dominion (4/2).

JUNIOR (2022): Made 21 appearances for the Eagles in 2022, earning his first career start against Georgia State on 4/16 … Held a 7-1 record, tied for the most wins for an Eagle pitcher in 2022 … Had his longest outing against College of Charleston on 3/22, pitching for 4.1 scoreless innings, sitting down three Cougar batters … Ended the season with 20 strikeouts.

PRIOR TO GS: Attended Tennessee but did not see game action... 
 
PREP: Attended Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, playing under head coaches Tim Jones and Marco Jackson… Named the 2018 Dekalb County Pitcher of the Year… First Team All-State and two-time All-State Pitcher… Posted 2018 National record of four no hitters… four-time Dekalb County First Team All-County and Region recipient… Two-time Atlanta Braves 400 Club Award winner… Also played football (QB) and basketball (Forward) in high school… National Honors Society member… Scholar Athlete Award… Graduated in the top 10% of his class… 

PERSONAL: Born Ga’von Alan Wray on February 23, 2001, in Douglasville, Georgia… Son of Omar and Greg Wray… Has a sister Ja’Nae… Ja’Nae plays softball at UAB and father Greg played baseball at Wisconsin…
