Jana Weiss joins the Georgia Southern women's tennis program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2022-23 season.
Weiss joins the Eagles from Grand Canyon University, where she played for three seasons, earning first-team All-WAC singles and second-team All-WAC doubles honors as a junior in 2021. The Klagenfurt, Austria, native played three seasons for the Lopes, collecting 34 combined singles and doubles wins. She transferred to Grand Canyon in 2018 after playing her freshman season at Southern Utah.
She graduated from GCU in May with her bachelor's degree in psychology and will be pursuing her master's degree in professional communication and leadership from Georgia Southern in the Fall.
