Hannah Smith was named the women's soccer team’s graduate assistant coach in June, 2019.
Smith joins the staff while she continues her education at Georgia Southern as she is pursuing a master’s in the sports management program. Smith played in all of the Eagles' matches in 2018 after transferring to Georgia Southern from Iowa Western Community College in 2016.
In her two years at Iowa Western Community College she played in the NJCAA national championship. In her sophomore year she served as captain and played every game in the Reivers' midfield earning ICCAC all-region first-team and NSCAA All-American second-team honors.
