Brandi Boston

Brandi Boston joined the Georgia Southern Sports Medicine Staff in January of 2016. She works primarily with the men's basketball and co-ed cheerleading teams. She previously worked with the baseball team from 2016-2023. She is responsible for coordinating with the team physicians, annual policy upkeep, and the emergency action planning procedures.

Boston comes from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was an intern working with volleyball and women’s tennis. Prior to her experience at Nevada, she worked as an Intern at the University of California-Berkeley, where she was responsible for the treatment and care of the men’s water polo and baseball teams. 

She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Ecology from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2011 and then pursued a Master of Art in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska Omaha, which she received in 2013. While studying in Omaha, she was a summer intern with Creighton University and was part of the hosting staff for the 2012 and 2019 NCAA College World Series. She holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid, Kinesiotaping, Blades,manual muscle techniques, Blood Flow Restriction and Dry Needling, and Myofascial Decompression Techniques.

Boston is originally from Sparks, Nevada, and an active member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, licensed in the State of Georgia.
