Alivia (Aj) Dallas enters her first season with Georgia Southern Softball as the program’s Director of Player Development, bringing a rare blend of Division I playing experience, program-building leadership, and athlete-centered development expertise.
Dallas joined the Eagles after serving as the Director of Fastpitch and Player Development at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Michigan, where she founded and scaled the Legacy Fastpitch program to seven travel teams, more than 20 coaches, and over 80 competitive athletes. In addition, she oversaw development programming for more than 300 athletes ages 3–18, building a full-spectrum pipeline from early childhood to elite travel softball. Her leadership emphasized both competitive excellence and personal growth through a culture anchored in Gratitude, Courage, and Togetherness (GCT).
A specialist in mental performance and player IQ, Dallas created and led Softball School with AJ, a mindset and softball intelligence curriculum used by athletes and coaches across multiple programs. Her work included individualized player development plans, mentor-based growth models, and performance tracking systems designed to support long-term athlete success.
At Georgia Southern, Dallas leads individualized development programming while supporting daily team operations, player mentorship, and performance analysis. She also contributes to the program’s branding and digital engagement strategy, helping elevate the Eagles’ presence on and off the field.
Dallas brings extensive Division I playing experience to the staff, having competed at both Michigan State University and the University of Utah. A three-time team captain during her collegiate career, Dallas was widely recognized for her leadership, competitive edge, and ability to connect teammates. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Michigan State University in 2023.
Married to David Dallas, who accompanies her in the athletic department at Georgia Southern serving on the football coaching staff.
Dallas continues to be passionate about developing confident, disciplined, and resilient athletes — values that guide her work with Georgia Southern Softball.
