Sutton Steele is in her second season as an assistant coach for Georgia Southern softball primarly working with outfielders, catchers, and the Eagle offense. She joined the Georgia Southern softball staff for the 2022-23 season as the Eagles' Director of Operations before transitioning into her current role.

Steele joined the Eagles from Northwest Florida State College, where she served as an assistant coach during the 2022 season. The Raiders went 40-13 overall and 11-8 in conference play during the campaign.

Beginning her collegiate playing career at Georgia College, Steele played three seasons for the Bobcats before transferring to Young Harris playing her final two seasons for the Mountain Lions. She graduated from Young Harris with her bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2022.

A native of Milledgeville, Steele is pursuing her master's degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern.
