Joining Georgia Southern University in the summer of 2015, athletic trainer Michele Lima comes from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey where she earned her bachelor's degree in May. Since coming to Georgia, Lima works with the men's and women's tennis teams as a first year graduate assistant. She takes classes in the department of Health and Kinesiology in the college of Health and Human Studies.
The Clifton, N.J. native majored in athletic training and received a minor in German Studies while at Rowan. In addition, Lima worked with the men's soccer team, a women's professional soccer team called the Sky Blue and was heavily involved with the NJ Special Olympics.
