Jonathan Woods joined the Georgia Southern Athletics Department in January of 2023 as an Academic Advisor for Student-Athlete Services. Woods works with the women’s rifle and men’s soccer programs.
Prior to arriving in Statesboro, Woods was an assistant men’s soccer coach at Lubbock Christian University. He also worked as an adjunct professor during his time there.
Woods is originally from Chesterfield, England, and graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in sport management. Woods also received his Master of Arts in teaching in secondary education from Lubbock Christian University. During this time, he competed for the men’s soccer program
