Cam Buchanan begins his third season as a full-time member of the Georgia Southern men's basketball coaching staff and his sixth as member of the program. In his role as director of recruiting and development, Buchanan oversees the managers staff, manage the program's recruiting database and schedule and aid with the day-to-day operations of the program.Â
A 2022 graduate of Georgia Southern, Buchanan served as the team’s head manager from 2017-22. In that role, he oversaw the program’s team of student mangers, coordinated the shooting, editing and coding of practice and game film, assisted in player development and helped plan and execute recruiting visits.
