REDSHIRT SENIOR (2024): One of the top relievers for the Eagles this season … Ended the year with a 3.34 ERA and two saves in 19 appearances with six starts … Pitched the first complete game of his career on 5/25 against James Madison to send the Eagles to its sixth conference title game in eight seasons … Finished the year with 65 strikeouts to 18 walks, only allowing a .249 opposing batting average … Only gave up 26 earned runs on 65 hits overall … Had the second-lowest ERA in conference play at 2.70 … Also allowed the fewest runs in conference play with 12 total, 11 earned.

SENIOR (2023): Transferred to Georgia Southern from Santa Fe College and became an immediate impact player on the pitching staff ... Started the season out of the bullpen but moved into the weekend rotation by the end of the season ... Finished the year with a team-low 4.81 ERA ... Had 52 strikeouts in 58 innings of work, only allowing 19 walks.

SANTE FE COLLEGE (2020-2022): Played three years at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida ... Started all 13 games he appeared in in 2022, posting a 3-2 record ... Held a 4.01 ERA, striking out 70 and only walking 12 ... threw two complete games in 2022 ... In 2021, Gross appeared in 15 games, starting 14 ... Posted a 7-3 record with a 4.01 ERA, pitching for 74 innings and posting a K/BB ratio of 73/15 ... Appeared in seven games in 2020, going 1-0 ... fanned 15 batters in 11.1 innings.
