PREP: Played for head coach Chan English at Dunwoody High School... Twice picked First Team All-DeKalb County and named Dunwoody High School Baseball MVP in 2014... Named to Georgia High School All-Star in 2013 and 2014... Hit .382 with two home runs and nine stolen bases as a senior... Hit .375 as a junior with 27 RBIs and five home runs as a junior... Won a pair of Region Championships in 2013 and 2014... Won the 2013 USA Baseball U-17 Cup Championship with his club team 643 Cougars.

PERSONAL: Born William Jeffrey Hudgins in Atlanta on August 4, 1995... Son of Jim and Paige Hudgins... Has two brothers, Jake and Josh... Brothers, Jake, played football at Davidson... Grandfather Bill Atkins was MVP of the 1957 National Championship Team at Auburn... Uncle Ace Atkins was on Auburn’s 1993 11-0 team.
