2015-16: The Eagle’s starter at right guard … Started nine games, playing 579 offensive snaps … Also played 19 special team plays for 598 total plays … Played 86 snaps against ULM … Was in for 78 offensive snaps against Troy … Was injured late in the game at Georgia (knee) and missed the final two games of the regular season (South Alabama and Georgia State) … Returned to the field for the final two snaps of the game in victory formation as the Eagles’ beat Bowling Green in the GoDaddy Bowl … A big part of the nation’s leading rushing offense.
2014-15: Started all 12 games at UAB … Helped the UAB offense rush for 300+ yards on two occasions vs. Troy (338) and at Southern Miss (371) … Transferred to Georgia Southern following the season when the Blazers shut down their football program.
2013-14: Moved from defense to offense prior to spring practice at UAB … Started first eight games of season at offensive guard before season-ending injury … Missed final four contests.
2012-13: Saw immediate action in first season at UAB, playing in 10 games at defensive tackle … Made one tackle during the season (at Tulane) … Was tabbed to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played both offensive and defensive line at Albany High School … All-Region 1-AA selection at defensive tackle as a senior … Also named all-area and All-Metro as an O-lineman by the Albany Herald … Graded out at 95 percent as a blocker with 14 pancake blocks as a senior … A 2010 All-Metro selection by the Albany Herald as a defensive lineman his junior year … Named to the Albany Herald Dynamite Dozen in both 2010 and 2011 … Also co-captain of Albany’s basketball team … Won the Class AA state championship in the shot put and finished fifth in the state in discus during his junior year as a member of Albany’s track and field team … Honor student.
