2015 - GoDaddy Bowl Defensive MVP

2016-17: Appeared in five games … Left the opener against Savannah State after a hamstring injury and was sidelined for seven games … Appeared for 64 snaps (52 defensive, 12 special teams) … Totaled three tackles (1u, 2a) with one being for a loss … Recorded a sack against Savannah State.

2015-16: Moved from tight end to defensive end after the spring of 2015 … Played in 11 games, starting one … Was on the field for one offensive snap, 196 defensive plays and 16 on special teams … One of two players to see action on offense, defense and special teams in 2015 … Recorded eight tackles on the season, including a sack … Also had one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and two quarterback hurries … Had one tackle against West Virginia … Got the start against Western Michigan and picked up one assisted tackle … Registered two more assisted tackles against South Alabama … Was named the defensive MVP of the GoDaddy Bowl after a huge game against Bowling Green … Recorded four tackles, including a sack, and recovered two fumbles and had a quarterback hurry as the defense shut down the high-flying Falcons … Made the Dean’s List in the fall … Had a sack in the Spring Game … Made the school’s honor roll in the spring … Named to the 2015-16 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.00-3.49 GPA.

2014-15: Made the transition from running back to tight end in the offseason … Started the first three games of the season at tight end before missing the remainder of the season due to a knee injury … Caught a pass at Georgia Tech for 8 yards … Returned a kickoff for 13 yards at Georgia Tech, the play on which he was injured … Member of the Eagle Honor Roll for spring 2015.

2013-14: Played in eight games … First collegiate carry helped set up a Younghoe Koo field goal early vs. Chattanooga … Scored first-career touchdown on 1-yard run vs. Furman … Finished the afternoon with 64 yards on 12 carries … Had back-to-back touchdown weeks with a score the following week vs. Western Carolina on a 2-yard score … Had a career-long rush of 49 yards against Elon with total of 86 yards on 11 attempts vs. Phoenix … Made third start against Florida at B-Back, and picked up 46 yards on 10 carries against Florida … Made the school’s honor roll for his academic work in the spring.
 
2012-13: Redshirted … Posted a 3.0 grade point average for spring 2013, one of 33 Eagle Football student-athletes with GPAs of 3.0 or above.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked as a three-star recruit by Rivals … Helped lead Savannah Christian to its first Class A State Title and 15-0 record in 2011 … Appeared in three-straight state championships … Part of a senior class that went 52-5 in their careers … Named Savannah Christian Prep’s MVP in 2010 and 2011 … Region 3-1A Player of the Year for 2010 and 2011 … Earned all-county and all-region honors three straight seasons … Named all-state by the Georgia Sportswriters Association … Played all over the field on both defense and offense … Appeared at running back, wide receiver, tight end and safety … Rushed for 510 yards in 41 attempts and found the end zone 10 times his senior year … Lettered four times in football and served as team captain his senior year.
