PERSONAL: Born Ja’Quise De’James Bowdry on January 7 … Son of April Samuel (mother), Monkeith Samuel (step-father) and Jimmy Bowdry (father) … Has two younger siblings, Oscyon Knolton and Jimmy Bowdry … His uncle, Guy McIntyre, played offensive line for 12 seasons in the NFL, with three Super Bowl and five Pro Bowl appearances for San Francisco.
