REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2012): Extremely coachable player with high football I.Q…. Dependable back who works hard to achieve goals… Gained 13 yards on three carries in Blue-White spring game… Played in all 14 games with contributions on special teams and offense… Won second letter award… Totaled 80 yards on 11 carries as a running back… Active on special teams despite being credited with only two assisted tackles… Ran for 34 yards on three carries vs. Western Carolina… Had nine-yard rush during Eagles’ longest drive of the year (16 plays) early against Catamounts… Came back later in WCU game for pickups of 13 and 12 yards… Carried for career-long 14 yards on one attempt vs. Old Dominion, leading to Eagle touchdown… Ran for 11-yard gain as part of four-play 60-yard drive for Eagles’ second touchdown vs. Howard… Had most attempts of season against Howard with five… Member of the Eagle Football Leadership Council… Had back-to-back semesters with grade point averages of 3.0 or above for fall 2012 and spring 2013… Named to University Dean’s List for fall 2012 with 3.50 GPA.

SOPHOMORE (2012): Posted a 3.50 GPA and was a Dean's List selection in the fall... Carried the ball 11 times for 80 yards in 14 games... Rushed five times for 19 yards in the season opener against Jacksonville (9/1)... Carried the ball three times for 34 yards at Western Carolina (10/6)... Also ran once for 11 yards against Howard (11/10) and once for 16 yards in the FCS playoff game at Old Dominion (12/8).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2011): Appeared in 12 games and did not appear in just the Chattanooga (10/8) and Old Dominion (12/3) games... Finished the season with 96 yards in just 15 carries... Made seven attempts for 48 rushing yards, including a 33 yard long rush against Presbyterian (10/22)... Tallied one rush for 17 yards against Tusculum (9/10)... Rushed five times for 30 yards against Furman (10/15).

FRESHMAN (2010): Redshirted... Rushed seven times for 5.7 per carry average in 2011 Blue-White game (40 yards)... assisted Eagles as a member of the scout teams.

PREP: Played for Georgia Southern All-American Franklin Stephens at Tucker High School... lettered all four years and earned academic awards all four years... team captain for two years... won Wendy's High School Heisman Award... selected to All-DeKalb team ... played in All-Star game... honored with Smallwood Award... helped Tigers win Regional 4A state championship in 2008... played basketball for one season and earned a letter.

PERSONAL: Born October 10, 1991 in Tucker, Ga.... son of Dennis and Jamil Scott... has two younger siblings... people most admires are Franklin Stephens and his parents... listens to Ready for Whatever by T.I. favorite color is blue... people would be surprised to know he likes country music... most treasured possession is his championship ring because not everyone has one...
