HIGH SCHOOL: A two-sport letterwinner at Alpharetta High School … Earned four letters in both football and track & field for the Raiders … Named the team’s most improved offensive player as a junior … Member of the 4x100m relay team that set the school record … Also set an individual record in the triple jump … Won the region championship in 2013 as a member of the 4X400m Relay and in the individual triple jump … Finished second in the 300m hurdles in back-to-back years … Captain of the Raider track & field team as a junior and senior as Alpharetta captured the region team championship in 2014.
 
PERSONAL: Born DeAndre Watkins on August 2, 1995 … Son of Charlotte and Kevin Watkins … Has a younger brother, Kevin II … Mother, Charlotte, owns state records in the 100 and 200 meter sprint races and as a member of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams.
