JUNIOR (2014): SoCon All-Tournament Team selection... Started 53 games (49 SS, 2 3B, 2 DH)... Hit .274/.318/.406 with 14 doubles, four home runs and ranked third on the team with 43 RBI... Stole seven bases in nine attempts... Hit .381 (16 for 42) against left handed pitching and .384 with runners on base... Posted a team-best 19 two-out RBI... Led the squad with 13 multi-RBI games and tallied 19 multi-hit games... Posted season long hit streak of six games and a reached base streak of 15 games... 4 for 13 with 4 RBI in season opening series at Georgia... Opened the season by going 2 for 5 with 2 RBI at Georgia (2/15)... Went 2 for 5 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI in the series finale (2/16)... Tallied first home run as an Eagle in the fourth inning against UMES (2/22)... Went 3 for 4 with three RBI in that game... 3 for 4 with three runs and four RBI against Ohio (3/2)... PREP: Played for head coach Ryan Hilton at Braden River High School... Lettered twice for the Pirates... Hit .316 with three home runs and stole 10 bases as a senior... Also played basketball.

PERSONAL: Born Dalton Wayne Busby on September 18, 1992 in Sarasota, Fla... Son of June and Wayne Busby... Has one sibling Dylan... Father Wayne was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 19th round of the 1988 draft... Wayne played six seasons in the minor leagues for the White Sox and the Chicago Cubs.
