2013-14: Played 10 games and earned a start against The Citadel … Pressured Bulldogs’ quarterback in final minutes to keep The Citadel from advancing past midfield on final drive … Blocked a 32-yard field goal attempt at Appalachian State … Had two total tackles vs. Furman … Made the school’s honor roll for his academic work in the spring.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state honors from the Associated Press and Atlanta Journal-Constitution at linebacker as a senior … Named to the All-Georgia Area and All-CSRA squad … Honored as a member of the WJBF Football Friday Night/Carolina Panthers All-CSRA Football team on defense … Leader on a Thomson team that went 12-1 in 2012, winning the Region 3-3A championship … Had five double-digit tackle games in 2012 with 105 total tackles … Registered 16 TFL and eight total sacks and a fumble recovery … As a junior, honored as the Defensive Lineman of the Year with All-Region 3-3A second team and Georgia All-Area third team honors to his credit as Bulldogs were Region 3-3A North Sub-region champions for the second straight year … Recorded 53 tackles with seven TFL and four sacks, one PBU and two forced fumbles along with nine hurries … Finished career at Thomson with 157 total tackles, 23 TFL and 12 sacks … Registered two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and four PBUs.
 
PERSONAL: Born Ronald Bernard Dawson on June 4, 1995 in Thomson, GA … Son of mother Kathy Sue Davis, and father Bernard and step-mother Rochelle Dawson … From the same hometown as former Eagle Darius Eubanks, who played linebacker for the Cleveland Browns … Youngest of three with two brothers, Kendrick and Khristopher.
