GS President's List Spring 2025

Sophomore (2024-25) - Indoor: Competed in all four meets • Best finish was seventh in the high jump at the Celebration Pointe Classic with a mark of 1.52. Outdoor: Competed in three meets.

Freshman (2023-24): Indoor: Competed in three events • Posted a indoor best mark of 1.56m in the high jump Outdoor: Competed in four events • Set a personal best in the high jump at the Southern Relays with a mark of 1.60m.

Prep: Four-year letterwinner in high jump at White County High School under head coach Quint Moss • Named Region Runner Up for three years in a row (2021-23) in high jump • Finished 7th in state in high jump in 2023 • Named State Runner Up in high jump in 2022 • Finished fourth in state in high jump in 2021 • Owns the school records in high jump and 4x200 • Also played basketball in high school • Graduated with scholar athlete honors and cum laude • Was a member of the Beta Club. 

Personal: Born Maci Lauren Shelnut on November 10, 2004, in Gainesville, Ga. • The daughter of Robin and Michael Shelnut • Has two siblings, sister Michaela and brother Dawson • Brother-in-law was a pitcher at Truett McConnell University and eventually for the Boston Red Sox.

Major: Intends to major in Interior Design.
