2017-18 (JUNIOR): Indoor: Began the season with a third place finish in the Shot Put event with a 13.55 meter throw at the Emory Crossplex… Continued her success at the JDL College Dual meet Madness when she took home second in the same event… At the Samford Invite 2018 Owens collected another second place finish with a 14.95 meter toss… Took home fifth place at the Indoor Championships… Outdoor: Placed second in the Shot Put event at the Coastal Carolina Invitational… Took home third in the Shot Put with a 13.00 meter toss and second in the Distance Throw with a 38.78 meter event at the Savannah State Tiger Twilight… Finished sixth in the Shot Put event at the Outdoor Championships with a 14.49 meter throw…

2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Indoor: Placed in the top 10 three times in shot put during the indoor season, at the Wake Forest Invitational (ninth, Jan. 16), the Bob Pollock Invitational (third, Jan. 19-30) and the Samford Open (ninth, Feb. 12-13)…competed in the Sun Belt Indoor Championships (Feb. 22-23) and threw the shot put for 12.96m…Outdoor: Appeared in the top 10 six times during the outdoor season, including two first-place finishes at the Lowcountry Collegiate (Apr. 16) in the discus throw and the Tiger Twilight (Mar. 30) in shot put…recorded a personal-best 14.17 meter shot put at the Lowcountry Collegiate which was good for silver…threw a career-best discuss throw at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships (May 13-15) with a mark of 44.18m to place ninth…also took ninth place in shot put at the War Eagle Invitational (Apr. 22-23) and fifth place in the discus throw at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (Mar. 25-26) 

HIGH SCHOOL: Threw at Canton High for Coach Okeefe Henderson... Four-time state shot put champion... Three-time all-state powerlifter... On the 2013 state basketball championship team... Class III North state deadlift record holder with 365 pounds... Class III State record holder with a 450-pound deadlift... Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame nominee for power lifting... Also played softball, basketball and volleyball... Won 13 indiviual/team state championships in basketball, track and powerlifting.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tammy and Jerome Owens... Has two older siblings: Bri' Onna and Jeremy.
