2024 SEASON: Appeared in all 102 sets and one of four to start all 29 matches, all as the team's setter, earning SBC Setter of the Week three times • First Eagle since Kat Minnerly in 2014 to have over 1,000 assists in a season, finishing with 1,011 • In a career year, led team in assists (1,011), assists per set (9.91), aces (46) and aces per set (0.45) • Top-three in the Sun Belt in assists and assists per set and led conference in aces and aces per set • Top-100 in the NCAA in aces per set (38th), assists per set (57th), aces (59th) and assists (89th) • Recorded 20 or more assists in all 29 games, finishing with 40 or more in seven of those contests • Added seven double-doubles during the season, also recording 63 kills and 18 total blocks • Opened year with 40 assists and nine digs against Wofford (Aug. 30) • Aided in reverse sweep of North Alabama with first double-double of the season, having 33 assists and season-high 13 digs (Aug. 31) • Had 41 assists, 13 digs and combined on game-winning block against Clemson (Sep. 7) • Had 40+ assists in both games at Coastal Carolina, including a game with five kills and a season-best 46 helpers (Nov. 2) • Surpassed 1,000 assists in the season finale against Northern Colorado with 44 (Dec. 7).
2023 SEASON: One of three players to appear in all 32 matches, starting 28 and one of three to appear in all 116 sets • Led the Eagles with 696 assists and 6.00 assists/set • Had 30 or more assists four times, 20 or more 19 times • Recorded a season-high 32 assists against Campbell (Sep. 9) and James Madison (Oct. 26) • Reached 500 career assists at Georgia State (Oct. 20) • Second on the team with 34 aces
2022 SEASON: Saw action in 16 sets in six matches • Came off the bench in the third set to post 12 assists, three aces, four digs and a kill to rally the Eagles to a 3-1 win over Georgia State (10/22) • Posted 37 assists and nine digs at Appalachian State (11/4) and followed it with 53 assists, 13 digs and three kills against the Mountaineers the next day (11/5).
Prep: Tallied 667 assists, 146 digs, 121 kills and 52 aces as a senior for coach Kate Latkovic at Saint Joseph Academy • Owns the school record for career assists with 2,451 • Named Division I first-team All-Ohio by the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association • Named American Volleyball Coaches Association High School All-Region • Named first-team all-district the last two seasons and the district MVP in 2021 • Played club for coach Meredith Gromala at Academy Volleyball Cleveland • Named to the 2021 AVCA All-American Watchlist • Named to the 2020 Ultra Ankle JVA Watch List and AVCA Phenom List • Named honorable mention on the 2019 PrepVolleyball Soph 79 List.
Personal: Born Kirsten Elizabeth Barrett Jan. 17, in Cleveland, Ohio • The daughter of Mark and Tanya Barrett • Has three older sisters, Erika, Nicole and Jess, and an older brother, Mark • Jess played volleyball at Saint Francis and Nova Southeastern.
