2018-19 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll

FIFTH YEAR (2022): Made 19 appearances during the 2022 season, starting seven games … Finished the season with a 1-0 record … Moved into the weekend rotation toward the end of the season, starting on Sunday (4/24) against South Alabama … Pitched four innings at Florida State, only allowing one hit and striking out four Seminole batters … Ended the year with 36 strikeouts in 28.2 innings of work.

SENIOR (2021): Appeared in 24 games for the Eagles starting one... Worked 37 and 2/3 innings, striking out 49 batters... Made his first-career start against College of Charleston (2/24)... Worked a career-high four and 2/3 innings against Arkansas State (5/8)... Struck out six batters against Kennesaw State (4/21)... 

JUNIOR (2020): Appeared in six games for the Eagles, posting a 2-1 record… Earned the save at SRP Park against No. 3 Georgia… Helped the Eagles produce two of their six shutouts this season… Struck out 13 batter in his 9 and 2/3 innings of work.

SOPHOMORE (2019): Made 25 appearances, all in relief...Posted a 3-1 record with a .324 ERA, third best on the team...Pitched a total of 50.0 innings and 51 strikeouts...Got his first win of the season against Little Rock (3/24).    

FRESHMAN (2018): Made 21 appearances, all in relief… Finished his freshman campaign with an 0-2 record and a 7.36 ERA in 18.1 innings of work… Went a season-long 3.0 innings against Coastal Carolina (3/29) allowing an unearned run off two hits with a season-high three strikeouts.

PREP: Played four seasons at Grovetown High School for coach Nick Wandless… First student-athlete from Grovetown to play at Division I level… Named to all-region first team three times… Hit .420 as a senior with 15 stolen bases and a .483 OBP… Recorded a 1.75 ERA over 40 innings with 65 strikeouts.

PERSONAL: Born Hayden Lee Harris on March 2, 1999 in Augusta… Son of Holli Young… Has two younger siblings, Wesley Young and Kaitlyn Young.
