Jason Richman joined the Georgia Southern Baseball staff in 2019 as the program's Director of Player Development while working toward his degree from Georgia Southern.
Richman worked with the Eagle pitchers, helping the staff to convert 16 saves and claim the program’s first Sun Belt East Division Championship.
Richman returns to Statesboro after a four-year career in professional baseball, playing with the Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers organizations, playing game at A, AA and AAA levels. He owns 10 career wins in 132 appearances.
Richman played three years for the Eagles, culminating in a 5-1 junior campaign in which he made 47 appearances and posted a 1.20 ERA.
