FIFTH YEAR (2022): Played in all 61 games the Eagles played this season, starting 60 … Posted a .301 batting average, .460 slugging percentage … Knocked 72 hits and scored a career-high 58 runs … Ranked eighth in the nation in sacrifice bunts with 13 … Also collected a career-high in doubles (14) and home runs (8) … Walked 15 times and hit-by-pitches 17 times for a .377 OB% … Had nine outfield assists, ending his career with 46.

SENIOR (2021): Started 56 of the 57 games he appeared in... Tallied 78 hits and posted a career best .358 average... He collected 12 doubles, three triples and crushed five home runs... He drove in 38 RBIs and scored 39 runs for the Eagles... Had a slugging percentage of .509 and an on base percentage of .428... He drew 15 walks and was hit by 14 pitches... 

JUNIOR (2020): Played and started in all 16 games this season… Collected 13 runs on 17 hits and drove in 12 RBIs… Had a .678 OPS and drew two walks on the season… Collected a walk-off single against Valparaiso (3/7)…

SOPHOMORE (2019): Played in 30 games with 21 starts...Hit .258/.330/.308 as a sophomore…Had 25 hits, 14 runs and nine RBIs...In a game against Coastal Carolina (4/20) Avant hit 3-4 including a double and two runs scored...Fielded at a .989 clip. 

FRESHMAN (2018): Played in 51 games with 47 starts… Started 13 games at catcher and 34 in the outfield… Hit .290/.389/..352 as a freshman… Ranked second on the team with a .290 average… Drove in 17 runs while scoring 35 runs… Five of his 47 hits went for extra bases… Hit first collegiate home run at Texas State (4/28)… Finished the year with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage… Threw out five batters in 14 steal attempts behind the plate.
