SENIOR (2023): Finished out his career in Statesboro by moving back into the starting line up for the first time since 2019, making a huge impact on the Eagles ... Posted career-highs in batting average (.342), runs (42), hits (69), doubles (12), triples (3), home runs (6), RBI (40), slugging (.520), and OB% (.434) ... Knocked the first home run of his career over the Blue Monster on March 10 against Rutgers ... Had two multiple-HR games with two homers at Mercer on March 22 and two homers against ULM on April 29 ... In that game against Mercer, he went 4-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored ... Went 5-for-6 in the aforementioned game against ULM with three runs, a double, two HR and six RBI.

JUNIOR (2022): Saw action in 24 games this season, starting in eight of those games … Tallied four hits, seven runs, and four RBI on the season.

JUNIOR (2021): Started seven of the 21 games he appeared in... Tallied five hits and scored three runs... Walked three times on the season... Had an on base percentage of .407...

SOPHOMORE (2020): Appeared in 15 games, starting in 13 this season… Batted .235 on the year, scoring eight runs and one double… Drove in five RBIs and had a .422 on base percentage… Evans walked 11 times in 2020, second on the team… Fielded .974, making one error in 39 tries… 

FRESHMAN (2019): Played and started in 54 games...Recorded 46 hits in 182 at bats including 37 runs, seven doubles and 25 RBIs...Went 10-11 on stolen bases...In a 14-0 win over UNC Asheville, Evans went 4-5 from the plate with two runs, a double and two RBIs....Fielded at .928.  

PREP: Played for coach Keith Hansen at Allatoona High School… Named First Team All-Region and All-County… Selected Second Team All-State… Hit .438 with 41 runs… Also played basketball… Earned scholar athlete award… Also played for Nelson Baseball School with coach Clay Remole.

PERSONAL: Born Blake Andrew Evans on June 7, 2000 in Hampton, Va. … Son of Kristi and Robert Evans… Has two sisters, Ashley Mosley and Abby.
