FRESHMAN (2026): Played in 49 games, including 44 starts for the Eagles in his first year in Statesboro ... In his first collegiate season, Edwards made noise by finishing with a .287 AVG and .381 OBP ... At the midway point of the season, Edwards was batting .400 and was atop the league in multiple categories offensively ... The Eagles’ second-half leadoff man had 50 hits this year while also throwing out six runners from behind the dish defensively ...
