SENIOR (2024): Wrapped up his Georgia Southern career tying a career-high in wins with five this season … Also tied a career-high in saves with two … Posted a 5.80 ERA, allowing 38 earned runs in 59 innings pitched … Posted 57 strikeouts and only gave up 26 walks … His 79 appearances are tied for 10th in Georgia Southern history … Had three outings of 6.0+ innings this season, including opening the Sun Belt Conference Championships with a great performance against JMU, pitching for 6.0 innings and 100 pitches, only allowing one earned run and striking out eight.

JUNIOR: (2023): Finished the 2023 campaign with a 4-4 record and a 6.20 ERA and one save ... Appeared in 17 games, starting nine of those contests ... Had 65 strikeouts in 61 innings pitched ... Earned his only save of the season at Troy when the Eagles clinched a 9-7 road win over the Trojans ... Earned SBC Pitcher of the Week honors on February 28 after a seven scoreless innings performance against ETSU on Feb. 25, only giving up a single hit and striking out nine Buccaneer batters.

SOPHOMORE (2022): Appeared in 21 games for the Eagles, starting six of those contests … Picked up his first win of the season against UCF on 2/26, finishing the season with a 5-3 record … Had his best performance against William & Mary on 3/12, where he pitched for a career-high 6.1 innings and didn’t give up a run, striking out three … Ended the season with 37 strikeouts.

FRESHMAN (2021): Started five of the 21 games he appeared in this season... Posted a 2-3 record and collected one save against ECU (2/28)... Worked 41 and 2/3 innings allowing 16 earned runs... He struck out 43 batters this season... 

PREP: Played at Providence Christian Academy under head coach Adam Cantrell… Was a first team All-Region in 2019, as well as a 2-way Gwinnett County All-Star in 2019… Hit .520 in high school during his senior, while posting a 1.80 ERA… Was also a Football-3rd Team All-Region… Played for the Ninth Inning Royals under Heath Honeycutt… Father David, Mother Molly and Brother David all attended or attends Georgia Southern…

PERSONAL: Born Benjamin Henry Johnson on September 20, 2001 in Tucker, Ga… Son of David and Molly Johnson… Has three siblings Mabry, Katy and David… Brother David plays on the team as a senior…
