Georgia Southern’s Student-Athlete Services office provides academic support through various avenues to promote and inspire holistic success of tomorrow’s leaders . We are committed to academic success and performance and provide resources to facilitate that through personal mentorship, academic advising and degree planning, our study hall program, tutoring, and learning support services.

Cone Hall
Cone Hall is located on Georgia Southern’s Statesboro campus and serves as the central hub for student-athlete academic support. Located on the first floor of the building, it houses our Student-Athlete Services staff and facilities to enhance the learning experiences of our student-athletes.
Cone Hall Departments & Services:
Student-Athlete Services is located on the first floor of Cone Hall. We also share this building with other learning support departments including our Student Accessibility Resource Center, the Academic Success Center, and the Regents Testing Center. We work closely with each of these departments to ensure all of our student-athletes have support for their various educational/learning needs.

Our staff boasts a variety of educational, professional and life experiences that have prepared us to provide diverse perspectives in our approaches to student-athlete support.
2 Graduate Assistants
We partner with graduate programs across various disciplines to provide select graduate students with opportunities to learn through our mentorship and gain experience through direct student support. We are proud to assist in the training and development of the next generation of leaders in the field of student-athlete support.
Facilities:
18 Study/Tutor Rooms complete with white board, desktop computer, and tables and chairs for quiet individual or tutor assisted studying and review
50 Computers with free Printing for student-athletes (ID verification required)
50 Tutors & Mentors
We average 450 tutoring appointments a week during the traditional semester
Our spacious lobby is complete with tables and chairs and ample space for quiet/low volume studying
