
Georgia Southern Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern volleyball and eighth year head coach Chad Willis announced the program's 2026 Fall Schedule on Monday.
The 2026 Schedule features a challenging non-conference slate, including three NCAA Tournament teams, a weekend tournament at ACC foe Wake Forest, two home tournaments in Hanner Fieldhouse, and a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii.
Georgia Southern opens exhibition competition on August 15, hosting Jacksonville inside Hanner Fieldhouse, before completing preseason contests on August 22 with a trip to South Carolina. The Eagles open the 2026 campaign on August 28-30, traveling to Honolulu, Hawaii, to participate in the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic against host Hawaii, San Diego, and Baylor.
The Blue and White return home to host the GATA Challenge, welcoming Prairie View A&M, Radford, and Eastern Kentucky to Hanner Fieldhouse on September 4-6, before traveling to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for the Deactown Invitational, hosted by Wake Forest. The Deactown Invitational features host Wake Forest, ETSU, and East Carolina, from September 11-13.
To round out the tournament schedule, Georgia Southern hosts the Eagle Invitational inside the friendly confines of Hanner Fieldhouse from September 17-20, welcoming Kennesaw State, Fordham, and North Florida.
Sun Belt Conference play begins on September 25-26 as the Eagles head to Conway, South Carolina to face off against Coastal Carolina, before returning home to face off against Old Dominion in Statesboro. Georgia Southern heads up the mountain to Appalachian State on October 8-9, before opening a four-match home stand with Arkansas State (October 16-17) and James Madison (October 23-24).
A Halloween weekend trip to Marshall on October 30-31 highlights the remaining three conference weekends, as the Eagles hit the road for four of their final six Sun Belt competition days. Georgia Southern concludes the home portion of their schedule on November 5-6, before concluding the 2026 regular season in Mobile, Alabama, at South Alabama (November 12-13).
Once again, the Sun Belt Championships will be held in Foley, Alabama, beginning November 19 from the Foley Event Center for the seventh consecutive season. Georgia Southern sets its sights on the programs first Sun Belt Conference Championship, as head coach Chad Willis enters the new campaign needing eight victories to become the program's all-time winningest coach.
