GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Georgia Southern women's golf recorded a 12th-place finish in the Gators Invitational, hosted at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Florida, this past weekend.

Freshman Margaux Brejo (69-74-75=218) led the Eagles, finishing 30th individually, after starting the weekend off hot with a one-under round of 69 on Friday. Brejo would go on to collected nine total birdies over the course of three days, including four in rounds one and three.

No. 7 ranked, and host university, Florida would win the team tournament title, while the Gators' Paula Francisco, ranked 28th in the country, claimed the individual title.
