WEST POINT, Miss. – First year Georgia Southern women's golfer, Kathryn DeLoach, collected her first collegiate top 5 finish at The Ally, after the final round was canceled due to sickness among a majority of programs. DeLoach finished fourth individually following two consecutive rounds under par, while the Eagles (302-300=602) tied for 10th at the event.

DeLoach (71-70=141) opened the week on Monday at The Ally shooting a one-under 71, highlighted by five birdies. The Athens, Georgia, native finished her first nine at two-over par, before finishing her round on a tear, birding four of the final five holes to post a three-under back nine. In round two, she continued her success, posting an even-par first nine, before recording three birdies on the second nine to post a two-under tally.

For the week, DeLoach averaged five birdies per round, bringing her season average per round to 3.1. She is the lone Eagle on the roster to have her score counted in all three events.
