STATESBORO – Georgia Southern women's golf returns to the course on Monday morning, competing in The Ally Championship, hosted by Mississippi State, Oct. 5-7.

The three-day event will be hosted at the Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, as the 17-team event features a traditional 18-hole format beginning at 9 a.m. each day.

The field will consist of host Mississippi State, Augusta, Florida, Georgia Southern, Indiana, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Kentucky, Lipscomb, Mercer, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, TCU, ULM, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech.

- Georgia Southern women's golf shined in its second tournament of the season, earning a sixth-place finish against a field consisting of five preseason top-25 teams. The Eagles posted the sixth-lowest 54-hole total in program history, 866, the lowest since the 2024-25 season at the Lexington Regional. The Eagles finished six shots clear of Louisville, and placed ahead of North Carolina, Northwestern, Clemson, Western Kentucky, Charleston, Long Beach State, Florida Atlantic, and Middle Tennessee.
- The dynamic duo of first-year's Lili Nelson and Kathryn DeLoach had their breakout moments at The Mason Rudolph, collecting top 15 finishes on the individual side. Nelson finished the final round with her first under-par round as an Eagle, catapulting herself into a tie for 11th, while DeLoach shot the low round of the day for the Eagles to place tied for 14th. DeLoach is the only Eagle through two tournaments to have all six rounds counted and is tied for the team lead with 15 total birdies, averaging 2.5 per round.
- The Eagles will send Haven Ward, Kathryn DeLoach, Ida Lundh, Lili Nelson, and Annie Jin to The Ally this week.
- Entering the week at The Ally, Georgia Southern has collected three top 20 individual finishes, as Margaux Brejo, Lili Nelson, and Kathryn DeLoach, all notched that off their docket through two Fall tournaments.
