Eagles Wrap Up Second Day at NCAA Championship

Team battling for spot in the top 15

CARLSBAD, Calif. - The Georgia Southern women's golf team wrapped up its second round of action at the NCAA Championship Saturday in tough conditions at the Omni La Costa North Course, shooting a 313 as a team.

Drive Tunwannarux led the way with a 75, carding a team-high four birdies while LoraLie Cowert shot a 77. Kelsey Chen (79), Mary Miller (82) and Louise Reau (85) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles. 

The Eagles will tee off in Sunday's third round on hole #1 at 1:47 pm local time (4:47 p.m. ET) with Cal State Fullerton and UNLV.
