
Two Earns Spots On 2025 CSC Academic All-District Women's Tennis Team

Nanaka Kijima, Mackenzie Leopold each earn spots on the academic squad
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's tennis placed a pair of student-athletes on the 2025 Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District Tennis team, announced today by the organization.
Junior Nanaka Kijima and sophomore Mackenzie Leopold each earned spots on the squad for the first time. Student-athletes qualify for the team by carrying a 3.50 GPA.
Kijima earns her first honor for carrying a 3.58 GPA in Management. The Chibi, Japan, native went 9-9 this season in singles play for the Eagles.
Leopold, meanwhile, earns her first honor for carrying a 3.94 GPA in Exercise Science. The Watkinsville, Ga., native earns a spot in her first year of eligibility.
This is the third year in which the organization has sponsored a tennis-only team.
