PREVIEW: Eagles Travel to Sun Belt Indoor Championships

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern track and field team is set for the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship Feb. 24-25 at Birmingham Crossplex.
Events will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday. The awards presentation will begin on Tuesday at 5:10 p.m. The meet is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Eagles captured three event titles last season in the 200m, 400m, and 4x400. The team of Sofia Molina, Lauren Euler, Alanna Smith, and NaJ Watson set a new meet and school record to take the 4x400 relay title. Watson took the 200m with a time of 23.38 and Smith won the 400m with a time of 54.43. The Eagles finished sixth last season.
