APEX, SAAC Partner with Statesboro Food Bank for Canned Food Drive

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern University's APEX program and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) are teaming up with the Statesboro Food Bank to host a canned food drive during the Eagles' football game against Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. ET.
The initiative aims to support local families in need as the holiday season approaches. Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Gate 8 in Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
In the days leading up to the main event, student-athletes will also be collecting canned goods at several other Georgia Southern athletic events:

- Thursday, Nov. 13: Volleyball vs. Louisiana

- Saturday, Nov. 15: Football vs. Coastal Carolina (main event)
