STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's golf team rolled to a 7-0 win over Charleston Southern in match play Monday morning at Forest Heights Country Club. It's the third match play win for the Eagles this year as they have defeated Army West Point and Augusta.

The team got strong performances across the board as the first three off got off to fast starts and never looked back. Parker Claxton overcame an early deficit to storm back for a 3&2 win and several players finished strong after being all square a majority of the match. None of the seven matches went the distance.
