ATHENS – Freshman
Louise Reau fired a 4-under par in the final round on Saturday to finish tied for fifth to lead Georgia Southern women's golf at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
Reau shot 73-75-78 to finish at an even par on the tournament tallying 10 birdies over three rounds and was bogey-free on the back nine in the first and third rounds. The freshman jumped 21 spots on the leaderboard from rounds two to three.
The Béziers, France native has finished inside the top-five in three tournaments, top-10 in five tournaments, and has finished in the top-20 in eight of nine tournaments played.
Regina Plascencia finished T29 shooting 73-75-75 tallying seven total birdies and was bogey free on the back nine in rounds one and two.

Abby Newton tied for 65
th,
Karlee Vardas finished 89
th and playing as an individual
Abbey Schimpf finished T86.
The team tied Michigan for 12th place in a field that included seven teams ranked inside the top-50 including five within the top-25.
