ATLANTA - Georgia Southern women's tennis wrapped up the 2024 Fall campaign by competing at the ITA Southeast Regionals over the weekend, hosted by Georgia Tech in Atlanta.

All eight of the Eagles participated in the tournament, with seven competing in singles competition and eight participating in doubles action.

"I'm not big on the moral victory generally, but what was obvious for our time at the ITA Regionals has me extremely excited about the future of the program," Georgia Southern women's tennis coach Sean McCaffrey said. "The Southeast region of the ITA is amongst the top regions across the board. The level of fight and promise our young team showed, against the best players in the nation, highlighted not only how good our women are, but it also illuminated what we need to work on as we fight for another conference championship. I know the team is extremely motivated to focus our attention on what we've learned and we can't wait to get back to training as we continue our work."
