Women’s Golf Completes Shortened Lady Bulldog Individual Championship

ATHENS, Ga. – The Georgia Southern women's golf team completed 18 holes on Saturday at the Lady Bulldog Individual Championship at UGA Golf Course. The one day, two round tournament was shortened to 18 holes due to bad weather. All nine Eagles competed as individuals. 

Louise Reau tied for fourth shooting an even par round with two birdies on the 12th and 14th holes. Haley Yerxa finished tied for ninth at 2-over par tallying three birdies and was bogey free on the front nine. 

Abby Newton and Yerxa finished second in Par 3 and Par 4 scoring, respectively. 

Washington's Stefanie Deng shot a 3-under 69 to win the individual title.
