STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's soccer team will welcome the UNC Asheville Bulldogs for a Sunday afternoon match on August 27 at Eagle Field. The match will begin at 2 p.m. from Eagle Field.
The all-time series between the two squads is set at 4-4 a piece, where UNCA tied up the series last season. Prior to that match, Georgia Southern had won four-straight in the series to take the overall lead. GS is 2-1 against UNCA in Statesboro.
The Eagles and Bulldogs matched up last season in Asheville, NC, with the Bulldogs taking a wild 5-3 game from the Eagles with saw three different Eagles score.
Georgia Southern comes into the match with an 0-1-0 record after falling in a tight 1-0 match to ETSU on Thursday, while UNCA comes to Statesboro with a 1-0-0 record after a 3-1 victory over the Navy Midshipmen on Thursday night.
