STATESBORO - Athlon Sports has released its 2023 Preseason All-Sun Belt Team as seven different Georgia Southern players were named to the squad.

Three Eagles were named to the first team, including Khalil Crowder (OG) and Khaleb Hood (WR) on offense, and Marques Watson-Trent (LB) on defense.

Jalen White (RB/AP) was named to the second team, Brian Miller (OT) was named to the third team, and Davis Brin (QB) and Derwin Burgess Jr. (WR) were named to the fourth team.
