MOBILE, Ala. - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team fell in a road conference contest to the 74th-ranked South Alabama Jaguars on Sunday afternoon. The loss moves the Eagles to 14-5 on the season while South Alabama improves to 12-7 on the year.

Action began in the doubles matches, where Pol del Castillo Masich and Aaron James Williams fell to the 58th-ranked duo at the No. 1 position, 6-4. South Alabama clinched the doubles point with a win at the No. 3 position over Judson Blair and Pierre Mouesca, 7-5. Valentin Dun and Alexandros Roumpis were tied with their opponents at 5-5 at the No. 2 position when the doubles matches were called.

In singles, Georgia Southern tied the match up with Blair's victory at the No. 5 position, 6-1, 6-2, but the Jaguars would win the final five matches of the afternoon to take the victory over the Eagles, starting with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at the No. 3 position and a 6-4, 6-3 victory at the No. 1 position. A 6-2, 7-5 victory at the No. 5 position sealed the victory for the Jaguars, but USA took three-set matches at both the No. 6 and No. 4 positions to claim a 6-1 Sun Belt Conference victory.
