NEW ORLEANS, La. - Pol del Castillo and Pierre Mouesca earned All-Conference honors in singles for men's tennis, the Sun Belt Conference announced on Tuesday. Del Castillo was named to the First Team All-Conference, while Mouesca earned Second Team All-Conference honors.

Del Castillo earned First Team All-Conference honors after ending the season with an 8-8 singles record, which included a win over tough competitors from Furman and Georgia State. Del Castillo was a mainstay at the No. 1 position for the Eagles and earned recognition from the conference after a strong sophomore season. This is Del Castillo's second consective season of earning SBC honors after being named Freshman of the Year last season.

Mouesca earned Second Team All-Conference honors after finishing the season with a 15-5 record, including a 2-2 record in Sun Belt Conference play. Mouesca won ten-straight matches this season which coincided with the Eagles ten-match win streak this season, and domninated the competition his freshman season in Statesboro. Mouesca was named SBC Player of the Week on March 8 for his strong performances against North Florida and Mercer.

Georgia Southern will be back in action on Thursday, April 20, as they take on the No. 4 seed Troy to begin its run in the Sun Belt Championship.
