STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team will begin Sun Belt Conference play against in-state foe Georgia State on March 18 in Atlanta, Ga. First serve from the state's capitol is set for 2 p.m.
GEORGIA STATE OUTLOOK: The Panthers have opened the season with a 3-9 record thus far, and at the time of writing, are currently taking on the UTSA Roadrunners in a home match. Georgia State's three wins have come against Furman (4-3), Presbyterian (4-3), and Kennesaw State (7-0). Â
GEORGIA STATE SERIES: The Panthers own a narrow lead in the overall series at 22-21, and are winners of the last four matchups between the two teams. In the last matchup between the teams, the 65th-ranked Panthers defeated the Eagles in Statesboro, 4-2.
