Georgia Southern continues its stretch of four straight events in the state of Georgia as the Eagles travel to the Yale Invitational at Ford Field and River Club in Richmond Hill, Georgia. It's a 36-hole, one-day tournament featuring the Eagles, Augusta, Dartmouth and Yale.
GS is coming off its second team title of the season having won the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational last Sunday. Regina Plascencia tied for sixth on the individual leaderboard, Abby Newton tied for 10th and Haley Yerxa tied for 12th.
Abby Newton makes her 26th start in the lineup for the Eagles, Karlee Vardas makes her eighth start in the lineup, and Yerxa is in the lineup for the sixth straight event. Regina Plascencia and Taylor Oberparleiter are in the lineup for the second time in their Georgia Southern career, and Meiqi Gao is in the lineup for the third time this season.
Following the weekend, GS competes in the Valspar Intercollegiate at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, March 11-12.
