MACON, Ga. - Georgia Southern wrapped up action in the Mercer Gridiron Classic on Sunday at the John Drew Smith Tennis Center.
The Eagles sent five players to compete in singles and doubles action. Georgia Southern finished the weekend with an overall 11-5 record in four brackets of singles play and a 3-3 mark in a pair of doubles bracket action.
"I'm continuing to see buy-in from the guys," Georgia Southern head men's tennis coach Andrew Goodwin said. "And I'm continuing to see this team make jumps. We are developing into one tough team."
The Eagles will return to action at the ITA Regionals in Atlanta on Thursday, October 12th.
