STATESBORO - The ninth-ranked Georgia Southern rifle squad returns to action on Saturday as it travels to 20th-ranked VMI for a pair of SoCon matches at Kilbourne Hall. The Eagles will face off against VMI's co-ed squad, as well as its women's squad. Action begins at 8:30 a.m. with a pair of relays.

The Eagles have won 18 consecutive SoCon matches dating back to a Oct. 31, 2020 loss to UAB at home.

Georgia Southern is 3-1 this season and has broken the school record in aggregate all three times its toed the line. The last score of 4,713 has the team currently ranked ninth in the county, one point behind Ole Miss.
